We celebrate our own Eliud Kipchoge!
Rachel Ruto on her Facebook page has confidence that ELIUD will emerge victorious.
"Just like We did in 2017 in Monza, Italy, when he broke the world record running the marathon in 2:00:25*, We will be there once again in Vienna, Austria, cheering him on as the greatest marathoner of all time.
Eliud’s discipline and dedication to the INEOS 1:59 Challenge training in the past few weeks has been admirable and inspiring.
Now that the time is here for him to beat time and distance, I am confident he will emerge victorious.
The Scripture says:
*Isaiah 40:29-31 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.*
*1 Corinthians 9:24 : Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.*
May the Almighty God renew your strength and may you indeed receive the prize!"
