CORRUPTION IN BARINGO COUNTY GOVERNMENT.

1. There is a road in Baringo South Sub County that was allocated 3.2million. Variation was done before completion and 3.6million was added on top of the budget. 3.6Million was released without the approval of the works officer Mr Japheth Ruto who refused to approve. County CS Stella Kereto, County Engineer Mr Vincent Cheruiyot, Finance Chief Officer, Head of procurement Ms Alice Kulei and Head of Treasury Mr David Rerimoi are among those who ensured that the money was released. 2. The KBZ 981D exhauster bought by the county was second hand contrary to procurement procedures which dictate the at only new products are supposed to be bought. Andrew Kwonyike and his Chief officer are the engineers of this cutthroat deal. 3. Material used to fence housing compound in Kabarnet and those of sealing the drainage are of poor quality yet the amount allocated were good enough to do quality job. Town admin Rotich is aware of the loot. 4. The substandard street lights done by the Public Service board Secretary Chepkoiwo himself and his brother are staring at us. Up to 30million went into this trench. The governor and his pastor Nichols Chepkoiwo including the town administrator Rotich are aware of the loot. 5.
