KWS SHOOTS DEAD STRAY LION IN KAJIADO

Via Citizen The team of specialized officers from the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has shot dead a stray lion that was roaming in Kajiado’s Isinya area. The action followed after the lion reportedly attacked a boda boda rider. The lion, which is believed to have escaped from the Nairobi National Park, was spotted Wednesday morning by motorists using the Kajiado – Isinya Road. According to reports, the lion was first spotted at Isinya Town. This comes barely a fortnight after another Lion was captured in Nairobi’s Embakasi area after straying from the Nairobi National Park. The lion attacked a man after it was irritated by hooting motorists along the busy Nairobi – Mombasa Highway.
