Several Primary schools in Baringo Central yesterday received learning materials from German donors who have visited Baringo before and set up a school in Kaptorokwo.
The donors who visited Kipkutuny primary school which was among the top schools in Baringo Central during 2015 KCPE results, received the donations among them being stationary, balls, water tanks among other items from the Germans who have come up with a program where they
invest in education within the subcounty.
The visitors who were accompanied by a local businesseman Joshua Kandie who also donated Sh10,000 for electricity supply in Tabarin Primary school in Tenges, was among the donors who visited more than 10 learning institutions in the region.
Sammy Ng'etich the Head master of Tenges Day and Boarding primary school, said that their pupils will now perform even better, now the they have gotten what they desperately needed.
"Ever since, the school has been performing well, but now with this gifts from Joshua Kandie and our good friends from German. The school will register the best results this year," said Ng'etich.
Zion football club in Tenges was among the few lucky football clubs to receive Sports gear including uniforms and soccer balls. The chairman of the football team Wilson Kipruto, congratulated the efforts done by Joshua Kandie in bringing foreign donors into the County.
"As the chairman of this club, I must applaud the work done by Kandie, by bringing donors into our great County," expounded the chairman.
"The future of this country depends on our youth, that's the reason why we need to empower them into becoming responsible people in thedonations," stated Kandie.
Tandui primary school, Tabarin Primary school among other primary schools also benefited from the generous donations.
